NXGN NY Studios proudly supports :
Next Generation NYC was formed in October of 1999 when a group of local New York underground dancers came together to perform at then a new dance event House Dance Conference. The original members of NXGN NYC were Fernando, Shiro, Lenny, Never and Cebo. On the day of the performance we were approached by Nobu, Chito, and Yoshi to do a solo at the ended of our performance and thus was born NXGN NYC. Shinobu and Tomomi were later added to round off the team.We went on to perform at some New York`s major dance venues.
We continued to dance and also produce or own dance party Essence. We have always been dedicated to educating the public about what we do. So we would visit local high schools and colleges and teach workshops. Then in the fall of 2003 NXGN president moved to Japan and in the fall of 2004 the first NXGN JP member was aquired Yukihiko, he was then followed by Takuro, and Chie. In the fall of 2005 NXGN NY Studios was opened.
NXGN NY Studios has always been dedicated to the community and we will continue to serve our community to the best of our ability. We are dedicated to providing quality classes not just for dancers but for everyone. The joy of dance lies in everyone and just needs to be released in a nurtured environment.
